QR check-in

The iFestival scanner is the app mode designed for entrance staff. It lets you validate tickets with QR codes quickly, even without an internet connection.

Before the festival

The organizer must invite you as staff from the Studio panel. You’ll receive an email with instructions to get access.

Once you have access:

1. Download the iFestival app on iOS or Android
2. Sign in with your staff credentials
3. Select the festival and edition
4. Tap Scanner Mode

Tip

Do this before the festival, when you have an internet connection. The app downloads the attendee list locally — so it works even without signal.

Doing check-in

1. Open the app → Scanner Mode
2. Point the camera at the attendee’s QR code

Possible results:

Result	Meaning
✅ Green — “Access granted”	Valid ticket, first entry
🟡 Yellow — “Already scanned”	This QR has already been used
❌ Red — “Not valid”	QR not recognized or not on the list

Offline operation

If you have no internet connection at the festival, the scanner continues to work. The attendee list was previously downloaded to the app.

Check-ins done offline are automatically synced as soon as the connection returns.

Multiple scanners simultaneously

You can have multiple staff scanning simultaneously at multiple entrances. Check-ins sync between all devices in real time when connected.
